The Dale Bridle™ is an effective means of securing the connection of the breathing circuit to the tracheostomy tube. The Bridle fits all tracheostomy tubes and connects easily to elbow, straight, or swivel adapters. The Bridle can also be used to connect closed tracheal suction systems to the tracheosotmy tube.

The Bridle does not impair swiveling at the trach plate or at the adapter site and is designed to work with your current tracheostomy tube holder securement system. For maximum security we recommend using with the Dale Tracheostomy Tube Holder. The Bridle’s Velcro® closure allows for quick, easy disconnection for cleaning or cannula replacement and rapid access to the tracheostomy tube should an emergency situation occur. To reduce the chance of infection the Bridle has been treated with a clear, waterproof, fungus resistant laminate and can be sterilized if necessary.

The Bridle standardizes and streamlines a formerly improvised and unrecognized method of securement. It is easily applied and eliminates the nursing time normally required to search for and apply a rubber band. Unlike latex rubber bands, there is no fear of the Bridle narrowing down, breaking, or snapping which can result in an unexpected disconnection from the tracheostomy tube thus reducing the number of false disconnect alarms.
